Happy Father's Day!
I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful Father's day where you are. God blessed us with a beautiful (can't be more beautiful) type day here in Scotland. If you wonder what perfect is - mid/s 60;s, calm and sunny with lower humidity. My apologies if this testimonial causes any difficulty with envy. But, please remember that Scotland has a LARGE amount of rainfall and wind. Just saying...
The praises today attendance wise are - one of our pre-teens letting us know that she wanted to come to SS and the AM. She is scheduled to be back this evening. We also had a man visit for his second time. He had visited in our absence, but it was good to meet him. He said that he will be back.
I enjoyed preaching this morning on Proverbs 16:7 on Pleasing God. We took the verse apart and enjoyed our time together around God's Word. We also gave our Fathers a copy of Andrew Murray's wee book, "Humility." Please pray that God will use it in the lives of our men.
We had a good week. The mission team departed on Monday. Tuesday I met a fellow minister for a morning in prayer. Wendesday I met another minister friend and did door to door in his area. We had a great visit with a woman yesterday after we knocked on her door. Please pray for the power of God upon our evangelism.
I want to express my gratitude to God for His goodness to Katie and I. This past Wednesday we celebrated 26 years of marriage. I can't believe how LARGE a number I just said, but I can't deny we were married in the year 2000. God has DONE GREAT THINGS FOR US, whereof we are glad!
In other news, the 21 year old young man continued to attend our evening services on Wednesday and Sundays. We anticipate seeing him again tonight. It's a joy to have him at church. We also had two women, who are believers from our area, visit our Sunday PM service last Sunday. I'm not certain if they will visit further.
There is much going on as far as interest in God's Word and work. Please pray for fruit that will abound. We appreciate your prayers very much! Thank you for praying.
