Safely Arrived

God blessed us with a successful journey to the USA. Duchess even did well when we left the house. She didn't get stressed or into panic mode as we took the luggage out the door. It sounds silly, but even that showed God's hand.

It took about 2 days to get over jet lag as we enjoyed time with my sister's family. Nate Metcalf, my brother in law, is the Dean of Men at Ambassador Baptist College. The college kindly provided for all of our meals and we had a really enjoyable week.

We also were blessed to visit Logan's church on Wednesday, Maranatha Baptist, in Marion, GA. Pastor Brennaman kindly had me share a testimony and our video presentation. On Thursday night we presented our ministry and I preached a short message at missionary prayer band at Ambassador. It was really fun to connect with the students.

Saturday, we drove three hours to Athens, GA and spent the night at Hope Baptist Church. Our Sunday AM meeting was at Crooked Creek Baptist. What a blessing to connect with a church that has supported us for nearly 20 years and who had sent a mission team to our church in 2023. Sunday afternoon we drove 2.5 hours and were with Bible Baptist Church in Hampton, GA for the PM. Their Pastor is a board member with BWM, our mission agency. We were thankful to be at this church as we had not connected with them personally since deputation. (Covid 19 canceled a previous meeting.)

After church we drove 3 hours to Simpsonville, SC to stay with Katie's sister's family for a week. God has blessed us with really good family (saved and living for the Lord) and we are enjoying our time here. Thank you for praying for all of our travels and plans. God's hand is evident.

Itenerary: Visiting Harvest Baptist in Spartanburg, SC on Wednesday night (Benson and Christina Shore's church.)

Sunday - Perry Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL in the AM. Northstone Baptist in Pensacola, FL in the evening.
