Whew!

This has been our busy weekend - thank you for your prayers. The youth activity on Friday evening went really well. The kids played 3 table games and rotated every two minutes, no matter how the game was getting on. They enjoyed this team competition. Pastor Dillman shared a good challenge on Samuel for the teens.

The Gala Day was non stop beginning to end. We had so many good conversations. The ladies' helped the kids put together about 130 hand coloured badges (buttons.) The archery bows were seldom laying on the ground and the same is true of the been bags for the bean bag toss. God kept the rain away. He has honoured that prayer request EVERY YEAR that we have been in the Gala (over 10 years). Thank you for praying. We thank the Lord for the strength He gave and trust Him for His blessings upon those whom we met.

This morning we had a lot of children out for Sunday School and church. What a blessing! Please pray for grace for our teachers. I preached this morning on, "The Prince Preaches" from Jesus message to the Jews found in John 6. Specifically, I preached on stumbling blocks to salvation.

Our hymn sing this evening is not a lot of work, because Dr. Doug Bachorik is doing all the work. Dr. Bachoric, from Maranatha Baptist University, has put together a power point and will lead our singspiration tonight. We are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do.

We had a first time visitor at church this morning as a relative was visiting. We also had someone come for their first time on Sunday AM. Thankfully, this young man has come to several other services as well. It's been our joy to get to know him.

Please pray for eternal fruit from the labours of our church family. God's hand is continually evident in answer to your prayers.
