Wow! What a great week!
Thank you so much for praying for God's hand of blessing upon our Holiday Bible Club. We had a great week. Our NBT evangelists, Levi and Nathan, were a tremendous help. They both did an excellent job.
God blessed us with 32 children in total. We had 2 children receive Christ as their Saviour. We had about 40 out for our family pizza party night.
A special blessing from the week was having a couple visit the church on Wednesday night because they had heard the street preaching. I had preached without amplification because my speaker battery was dead. There is another part to the story which is incredible. A man who said he pastor's the largest church in India gave me a cash hand shake. When we got back to the minibus, we discovered that he had put five 50 pound notes into my hand. This was an answer to prayer as it strengthened our NBT evangelist's love offering.
That visiting couple from Wednesday night returned today. They are looking for a church and God may be leading them to our's. We'd love this - if this is indeed the case. Please pray for them to know the Lord's leading.
Additionally, one of our repeat evening visitors came to church this morning. That was a blessing. We also had one of our HBC kids come out who has not come to church before. There were some disappointments as a mum with 3 kids who was supposed to come did not. Please pray that we see them out for church in the near future. They had definitely said they would be there.
This coming Wednesday night we have other kids who are supposed to attend. Please pray for God to continue the good work He was doing this past week. We are adjusting our kid's classes with the hope that God will build them up.
I preached this morning on Isaiah 61, "Liberty, Comfort and Commission" - a message on the Messiah's message. We had a great time around God's work. Our SS attendance was better than it has been in the past. God is working in answer to your prayers. THANK YOU for praying and for following along.
