I was not able to update my webpage earlier today and I'm thankful that I was hindered. Now, I can share with you that our young man who has been coming has accepted Christ. Please rejoice with the angels in Heaven and pray for God's blessing upon this new believer's faith. It was a joy to explain the Gospel to Him and to witness him putting His trust in the Lord. Also, a first time visitor came Wednesday night. She enjoyed her time with us and intends to be back this following Wednesday. Praise God!
The Lord gave us a very good day. Our attendance this evening was a real encouragement. Similarly, last Sunday evening was a tremendous blessing as we enjoyed a singspiration. The church also surprised me with a 50th Birthday party fellowship following the service. I thought it was an ordinary fellowship meal, but it was an extra-ordinary time. :) I praise God for the 50 years He has given me and pray I can number my days and use them well for Him.
This morning God blessed our services. I preached on, "Be an Overcomer" from Revelation 3 and Christ's words to the Laodicean Church.
God blessed our outreach this week as I street preached on Monday, did outreach with Pastor Dillman in Livinston on Wednesday and on Saturday Katie and the two older boys put out HBC leafletts. (Mac and I were on a road trip on Saturday.)
Please pray for a fruitful week ahead. Some of you know the Les and Jenny Hill family. Their son, Josh, and daughter, Hannah, are flying over on Thursday to spend the day with us. We anticipate doing some ministry outings with them as we show them around. Thank you as always for your prayers WHICH AVAIL MUCH.
