Thanks for your prayers
God blessed this past week and we are thankful for all the grace which the Lord gave to us. Our meetings went well every night and good decisions were made. Some are thinking about baptism and others are considering church membership. One man asked about helping with driving the minibus as well. So, praise the Lord. Please pray that the decisions made will be kept by those who made them.
This morning, was on of those mornings any pastor could tell you about, when everyone is letting you know they can't make it. We thought that was the case as we began SS as a family. Then two other families made it. Others made it out for SS. So, in the end our attendance wasn't too bad - all things considered.
I preached this morning on Luke 23, "What Will You Do with Jesus?" It's the story of Pilate's judgment upon Jesus. I enjoyed going through this narrative with our church family. It was good to have one man visiting again with us.
This is our busy Sunday. So - if you see this straight away - please pray for our care home ministry this afternoon at 3:00pm. Also, Katie and another lady are planning to attend a ladies' retreate this Thursday - Saturday. Katie will have one of the speaking sessions. Please pray for God to do a great work in the women's hearts. Thanks for praying!
PS. Please also pray for the Webbs as they begin a week of meetings up in Aberdeen.
